Long Ball Program – Durham Triple Play Leagues President, Ms Pat James has been nominated for the 2018 Keeper of the Dream Award. The Durham Community Martin Luther King, Jr. Steering Committee, Inc. presents two 2018 Keeper of the Dream Awards: one recognizing an individual and the other recognizing an organization for outstanding leadership and service to improve the quality of life of all citizens and work toward economic justice for all people.

The award will be presented during the Annual Religious Service on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 2608 Apex Highway, Durham, NC 27713. The Service begins at 6:00 pm. Doris Ingram-Randall, Chair of the Awards Committee will present the award and describe the work of the recipient in addition to detailing the reasons why the recipient is being recognized.
