Myra Blackwell was honored on Friday, November 9, 2012, by receiving the Yolanda Opens Her Heart Award. Myra was interviewed on The Yolanda Adams Morning Show by Yolanda herself. Myra was awestruck while talking to Yolanda Adams, but did a great job. Myra was nominated for the award by Pat Nobles, President of The Long Ball Durham Program, for her tireless efforts for the Long Ball Durham Program. Myra’s selflessness was again demonstrated when, while talking to Yolanda, she offered the prize award to The Program.
